Privacy Policy
Effective Date: May 27th, 2026
K-LOVE Kids is a youth initiative of K-LOVE, Inc. ("K-LOVE," "we," "us," or "our"). K-LOVE Kids creates Christian music, videos, podcasts, and related experiences for children and tweens.
This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information through www.klovekids.com (the "Site"). The Site is directed to children, including children under 13. Although K-LOVE is a nonprofit organization and is not subject to the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”), we intend to operate this Site in a manner informed by COPPA.
This Privacy Notice applies only to visitors’ use of this Site.
K-LOVE, Inc. also maintains a separate general Privacy Policy for other K-LOVE services. If there is a conflict between this Privacy Notice and K-LOVE’s general Privacy Policy about personal information collected from or about children through this Site, this Privacy Notice controls for this Site.
1. How the Site is designed
The Site has a Kids Page and a Parents Page.
Children may view Site content, including Christian music videos and related content, without creating an account, logging in, registering, or submitting personal information directly to us. The Kids Page does not include a contact form, account-registration feature, chat feature, message board, or other feature that allows children to submit personal information directly to K-LOVE Kids.
The Parents Page is the only location on the Site where information may be submitted to us. The Parents Page may include a casting form and a link to donate.
The Site may also include pages for future shows or programming.
2. Parental consent and child information
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through the Kids Page.
If an activity on the Site would involve collecting personal information from or about a child under 13, we will provide the parent or legal guardian with notice and obtain verifiable parental consent before doing so.
A parent may decline to provide consent. A child will not be denied access to Site content that does not require personal information because a parent declines to provide consent for a separate activity. A parent may also revoke consent at any time by contacting us using the information in the "Contact Us" section below.
3. Personal information we collect
We collect personal information only when a parent or legal guardian chooses to provide it through the Parents Page or when limited information is collected automatically to operate and secure the Site.
Information provided by parents or legal guardians
Depending on the activity, we may collect:
- • Parent or guardian contact information, such as name, email address, mailing address, and telephone number;
- • Child information submitted by a parent or guardian, such as the child’s name or nickname, age, city and state, and information relevant to a casting submission;
- • Submission content, such as photos, audio recordings, video recordings, or other materials submitted by a parent or guardian for a casting opportunity or related activity;
- • Donation information, if a parent or other adult chooses to donate through the donation link, such as payment and billing information handled by the donation or payment provider; and
- • Communications, such as information included in messages a parent or guardian sends to us about the Site or a child’s participation.
Information collected automatically
We use only cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate, secure, and maintain the Site, such as technologies used for security, network management, accessibility, and cookie preferences.
We do not use cookies, pixels, analytics tools, advertising trackers, social media tracking pixels, or similar technologies on the Site to create profiles of children, serve behavioral or targeted advertising, or track children across websites or services.
4. YouTube videos and external links
The Site may display or link to videos hosted on YouTube or another third-party platform. When you click a link to YouTube or interact with a YouTube video, YouTube and Google may collect information under their own privacy practices in accordance with their privacy policies. K-LOVE Kids does not control YouTube’s or Google’s data practices. We do not authorize YouTube, Google, or any other third party to use personal information collected through this Site for behavioral advertising, targeted advertising, profiling, or cross-site tracking of children.
5. How we use personal information
We use personal information collected through the Site for the purposes described in this Privacy Notice, disclosed at the point of collection, or otherwise authorized by a parent or legal guardian.
We may use personal information to evaluate and process casting submissions submitted by a parent or guardian; communicate with a parent or guardian about a casting submission, Site activity, or child participation opportunity; provide notices and obtain parental consent where required; process donations or transactions initiated by a parent or other adult; operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site; respond to parent or guardian inquiries; protect the safety, rights, and property of children, parents, K-LOVE, and others; and comply with legal obligations or respond to valid legal process.
6. How we disclose personal information
We do not sell children’s personal information. We do not share children’s personal information for targeted advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not disclose children’s personal information for unrelated marketing, donor outreach, or profiling.
We may disclose personal information in the following limited circumstances:
- • Service providers. We may disclose information to service providers that help us operate the Site or support the activity for which the information was provided, such as hosting providers, security vendors, casting-support vendors, payment processors, and technology vendors. These providers may use the information only to provide services to us and must protect the information appropriately.
- • K-LOVE and K-LOVE affiliates. We may make information available to K-LOVE, Inc. and K-LOVE affiliates only as needed to operate K-LOVE Kids, support the Site, process a parent-submitted activity, maintain shared infrastructure, comply with law, or protect safety and security.
- • With parent consent. We may disclose or publish a child’s submission, image, voice, likeness, or other content only with separate parent or legal guardian consent or under a separate participation agreement. This Site Privacy Notice is not intended to serve as that consent or agreement.
- • Legal, safety, and security purposes. We may disclose information when required by law, in response to valid legal process, or when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to protect the safety, rights, or property of a child, parent, K-LOVE, Site users, or others.
- • Organizational transactions. If K-LOVE Kids or relevant K-LOVE operations are involved in a merger, reorganization, transfer, or similar transaction, information may be transferred subject to this Privacy Notice and applicable law.
7. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, unless a longer period is required by law.
Our retention practices are:
- • Casting submissions: retained for as long as reasonably necessary to evaluate and administer the applicable casting opportunity or related activity, and then deleted or de-identified in accordance with our written retention policy, unless a parent or legal guardian consents to a longer retention period, the child is selected and separate participation documentation applies, or retention is required or permitted by law.
- • Donation and transaction records: retained as required for payment processing, tax, accounting, audit, and legal recordkeeping purposes.
- • Parent communications: retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the request, maintain appropriate records, and comply with law.
- • Site operations and security information: retained for the period reasonably necessary to operate, secure, debug, and maintain the Site.
- • Other children’s personal information: retained for the limited period reasonably necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected. When the information is no longer reasonably necessary for that purpose, we delete or de-identify it in accordance with our written retention policy, unless retention is required or permitted by law or a parent or legal guardian has provided separate consent for a longer retention period.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information collected through the Site. These safeguards include measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, the nature of the Site, and our operations.
No website or online service can guarantee complete security. Parents should contact us if they believe information submitted through the Site may have been accessed or used without authorization.
9. Parent Rights, Privacy Rights, and Choices
Parents and legal guardians have the right to review personal information collected from or about their child through the Site; request deletion of their child’s personal information; refuse to permit further use or collection of their child’s personal information; and revoke consent previously provided for the collection, use, or disclosure of their child’s personal information.
Depending on where you live and the nature of your interaction with us, you may also have additional privacy rights under applicable state privacy laws. These rights may include the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information; request information about our privacy practices; opt out of the sale of personal information or the sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising, where applicable; limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information, where applicable; and appeal our decision regarding a privacy request, where applicable.

The Parents Page may include a link that allows parents and other adults to donate. Donation and payment information may be collected and processed by K-LOVE, its donation platform, payment processors, or other service providers. Donation records may be subject to separate donor privacy disclosures and legal retention requirements.
